Pictured is a new wood planted at Treflach Farm adjacent an old water mill. It’s a mixture of broadleaf native species including silver birch, rowan, dogwood, wild cherry, bird cherry, wild service tree, English oak, common beech, green beech, horse chestnut and sweet chestnut planted to enhance a wet corner of a field. The second image is at Treflach Hall; 350 metres of new hedge (hawthorn, blackthorn, field maple, dog rose and hazel) providing extra food sources and a growing habitat for Mother Nature to synergise.
